I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL WHICH IS HOUSE TRAINED BUT WHEN I GOT UP THIS MORNING IT HAD MESSED WHY? IS IT BECAUSE ITS A NEW HOUSE?

That is the most likely answer. It has to get used to its surroundings. Love and affection should get it accustomed. Also if it makes an accident, even if you know it didn't mean to and it is obviously sorry, You still need to gently scold it or it will learn that it can disobey as long as it makes you feel sorry. Try to limit scolding while it isn't used to you. Good luck to you and your "baby"!

Your puppy most likely had an accident because he couldn't hold it any longer and does not know how to indicate to you that he needs to go out.  Please do not scold your puppy for messing inside.  If it is after the fact he will not understand why he is being corrected.  However, do praise him lavishly for going outside.  A young dog should be taken out at least every three hours in order to get the hang of going outside to eliminate. They cannot hold it much longer than that.  Try to use the same place every time.  It gets them in the habit of knowing when they go to that area they need to poop.  Hope this helps. Cavaliers are wonderful dogs and very loyal.  They make great companions.  They prefer to be around other animals and most especially their owners.  Good luck.
