Trying to find the SSN of my ex-husband.  Need it for legal purposes.  SSN wont give it to me.  I havent seen him in over 20 years and found out he might have passed away.  I can find nothing out about this man and need some info on him.

If you believe your ex maybe deceased, try searching his name on the Social Security Death Index.  Try this link. (may need to cut and paste into address bar)  Otherwise, if still living, I'm not sure how to find his number.  Do you have any old tax papers, or anything from when you were married that might have his number?  Good luck.

If you go to the Court House of the County you were married in and request a copy of your marriage license; it may have his social security number on it.
