most people would throw it away, you try a steam cleaner but if the urine has gone deep it will fester and the organics will ruin the mattress, alternately you could try a vineger soak on the affected area and then suck that out with a steam machine

Buy a product called SIMPLE SOLUTION at a pet store, like PetSmart. Spray the soiled area well. When it is only slightly damp, cover the area with baking soda. Allow that to remain on the mattress for a week. Vacuum it off. The odor should be gone. If it's possible to place the mattress in the sun for a day, do so.

For dog urine first use a steam cleaner if you have one, to remove the excess liquid matter, then saturate the area with Nature's Miracle. you can get it at any pet store. Nature's Miracle uses odor eliminating enzymes to breakup stains and kill odors, and if you can place the mattress in the sun it would help speed the process. It's great. Plus it's guaranteed. full satisfaction or your money back.

Offer your dog up for auction on Ebay to the highest bidder in exchange for a memory foam mattress. The new memories you will formulate with your new memory foam mattress as you sleep peaceably throughout the night without the smell of dog urine in your face will soon eliviate your guilt of the trade to some lucky dog lover on EBay.

First, dab a cloth over stain to get out excess liquid. Then use a stain remover spairingly. Make sure you let dry completely before putting sheets back on.
