I have a male(black) and a female(white) chow.they are almost 2 yrs.I want to know what the times of the typical female to go into heat and how long does it last.

I would advise you to shoot both of them right now before they breed. The are the nastiest dogs around.

They breed twice a year for a couple weeks.

I also raise chow chows and my females have came into their first heat around 9-10 months. And they will be receptive about the 9th to 11th day and they will be in heat a total of 3 weeks.
