Chinese Pinyin Audio Files
I am trying to write a software application that will assist with memorisation of two thousand of the most important Chinese characters. The program will be disseminated free of charge when complete. I would like to add audio, and for that I need audio files of all the common Chinese syllables, spoken by a native Mandarin speaker, including the major tone variants. Is there a free resource on the internet that contains these audio files?

You can visit www.geniv.com/ako888/index.php and ask the webmaster for their zipped Cantonese and Mandarin sound files of the Pinyin language.
