My dog Berry plays very rough with me and often play bites, but never actually breaks any skin.  He doesn't growl or attack, but I want to break him of this habit.  He always greets me by putting something in his mouth and bringing it to me, is this normal?

My JRT Skipper, use to bite when playing, usually rough and I would yelp loud like an injured dog. I did this a few times and now he is more gentle. Skipper always greats me with his ball in his mouth. That is because they learn when you get home they get to play. That is a treat to them also. His favorite thing is his ball. He will play for hours. JRTs need to do things, they are a working dog.
