What would cause a medium sized sore on my dogs pecker? It's not leaking puss or anything.  It does'nt seem to be bothering him.  I need some advise on treatment without having to take him to the vet.  They milk me for every penny I have.

Sort your life out - if there's something wrong with your dog take it to the vet you should have thought about appropriate costs before getting him in the first place

It is more than likely a tumor but without going to the vet you cannot know if it is malignant or not so you MUST take him to the vet.
