I have the flight control stick from an F-18 as a stick shift.  How do I hook up my remote or wired stereo controls to it's various buttons and switches?
PLEASE help!

I made my own stick, but found it was far easier to take the guts from an existing joystick and adapt the circuitry. Check out what I've done at www.flightcontrolsimulator.com

quite indepth but find the power supply wire to the stick's control buttons. Then the ground, ground the stick and supply power, then its a matter of testing each wire coming out of the stick with a testor of some sort you can get these at radioshack. Now i would suggest wiring it to your remote for the deck. Youll have to remove all caseing around the remote so your left with the circuits. Each wire you tested hook it to the switch of the button on the remote. You will need to find a good solid place for the remote to be mounted to. this should work..i did a somewhat simialar install with a mad catz gaming wheel used as my cars steering wheel.
