Liz,  I see your problem and it came to me before. What you should do for a great food recipe(I'm sure your hamster will love it) is get some wild bird mix, Vita Kraft Vitamins (what ever kind you like. Personally my hamster likes Strawberry)and some lettuce(not iceberg thought and if you can't do that use carrots). Now for a hamsters dream, get the Habitrails Space Station cage. It's a bold new adventure which has many different add-ons to it. By the way, I'm interested in joining your club.

                 Sincerely,
              HamsterMann(Kyle)

Be careful with fresh fruit, as you all know hamsters are hoarders so they store food and it will rot. I'd also like to join the club.

hey,
I have a good recipe for you. Take a fruit yogurt, like strawberry or blueberry, add it to a bit of dry oat meal, stir it together until its a bit sticky, but thick enough to form into patties or balls. microwave it for 30 sec. just so you soften the oats. stir it again and form the mixture into balls of small patties. (if you don't want to use yogurt, you can substitute a 1/2 of a mashed banana.) My hamster, Molly, loves these. You should give them a try.

Well, here's something to keep your hamsters happy. If you have any toilet paper rolls, glue and hamster treats, put a little bit of glue on the roll. Then, sprinkle hamster treats on it. Let it dry in the sun. When its done drying, put it in the cage. Refill it with hamster treats every week.

My hamster loves eating weetabix in milk which he always like to finish off. bananas and cucumber are another fave of hammys. he likes 2 gnaw on uncooked pasta spaghetti aswell. this is just aside from his usual bag of hamster food. its so cute to see him sipping milk from a bowl its a treat he likes aside from his water. breakfast cereals, whole wheat bread, uncooked pasta, cooked chicken, tuna fish, fresh fruits and vegetables are just a number of things ive looked up on that my hamster can eat. hayley from liverpool :)

as a toy for my hamster since he is very active I use cardboard pieces and make a simple maze and stick a reward at the end such as strawberry, piece of apple, or celery.I also found that if I make his snack look different every time, he eats more because he thinks he is getting something new.

I had just got of your page and decided to try something new so I tried veggie dogs and it's so simple all I did was take 1/2 an inch of a celery stick and took a baby carrot and cut it in half twice put it in the celery stick and my hamster chopper loved and it was brand new to him because I've only had him for 2 days.
