My fiance lives in Barbados, I live in Masachusetts.  He has a visitors visa so he can visit me in the states.  We recently got engaged and I am trying to find out 1.If he comes to MA on his visitors visa can we get married & what documents does he need for this to happen, if any. 2. After we marry, what forms are necessary for him to be able to stay in the US. 3.  How long does it take for these forms to be processed and will he be able to go back to Barbados to finish up loose ends for two months before he lives here with me.

I have the same problem...my fiance in Barbados..I'm South Dakota... and we would like to get married soon...he has a non-immigrant visa that expires in 5 years but is it smart to get married on one of his visits? Is it better to get married in Barbados? How long is this process going to take and will he have to go home during the process?
