The skipper wore light khaki pants and gilligan wore faded navy dungarees that looked light blue.

After 3 years on an island with no washing machines or soap, both sets of britches were yellow in the front, brown in the back.

Skippers were white and Gilligan's were very faded blue jeans that looked almost white. He also wore in several episodes very wide flair legged white sailor fatigue pants.
