Yes - the United States Congress declared war on Japan at the request of President Roosevelt after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.  The vote was unanimous save one (a pacifist member of the House whose name escapes me...female, don't remember anything else).  After the U.S. declared war on Japan, Germany declared war on the U.S. in keeping with terms of its alliance with Japan.

hey Dennis:just to try to help you out, Hitler had a program of exterminating the RETARDS, the insane, the lame, and any other slightly "different" human. So, since that was 50 odd yrs. ago, and of no relevance today, when the president(sic) King Bush gets re-elected and Ashcroft orders all the retards to be rounded up and gassed, I suggest you find a cave or head for S. Amer., pronto. Good Luck?? (and don't even think about Canada, they just passed a law barring draft dodgers and people of your "sort") Also the Mason"s, the Illuninati, the Skull& bones, the Tri-laterals, and the Fascist's of the world thank you in advance for allowing their Orwellian standards to be so easily implemented.

its make me sick being surrounded by idiots like pete. Where is your mind to think such a thing. No matter how insane a person is, they are still human. Try walking in someone else shoes and see how it feels. Think before you make any more stupid comments.
