I get headache or pain in my lower back of my head,  from ear to hear, can anyone relate or tell me if this is in the migraine family,

I had the same pain.  I went to the doctor and he told me my problem was because of the trapezoid muscle found in the back.  After reading about it on the net, I realized he is right.  I do not suffer from headaches ever and so therefore it makes sense that my problem is due to my muscles not being in good shape.

most probably that's tension headache, though a migraine can start off that way.
