Is it true when Hummingbirds migrate they actually hitchike on other birds?

True. They attach themselves and enjoy the ride.

On www.hummingbirds.net/migration.html it states that humming birds do NOT "hitchhike" on other birds.

Hummingbirds may hitchhike on the backs of Canadian Geese, but this has not been proven.  Hummingbirds do not fly at a high altitude, only as high as the tree tops, so I assume they get a little help from bigger birds who can help keep them warm and make the journey.
