our dog is having major ear problems.  Every morning she is flapping her ears violently and moaning.  We are presently seeing an holistic vet and we are putting emu oil every few days.  It appears to help but the problem is still causing her some pain.  She is on the barf diet and has been on it for the past two years.  Any suggestions out there???????????

It is a yeast infection I have a 5 year old shephard who has the same constant problem. you have to thoroughly clean the ears with ear cleaner and I use a medication my vet gave me that I can just squirt in his ear.

Get educated. Check out web site www.petearkleen.com for solutions to ear problems. basic answer is to get diagnosed by a vet, have it properly treated and then have a routine weekly ear cleaning program with an safe and effective ear cleaning solution.
