The electrical wiring in your house is far more of an electro-magnetic health hazard than a cellular tower is.

If you go to this site, hosted by the FCC, it appears as if you won't have any problems.

I understand your panic. I am in the same situation.  Verizon is putting antennas on the roof of my building, and I live on the next to the top floor.  I have done quite a bit of reading on the subject in the last few days.  I can be more helpful to you if you will supply me with some details, such as the name of the cell phone provider, the type of antenna: whether on the side of a building or a separate structure, your neighborhood type: city or rural, and any other details you can think of.  I can also email you a PDF of the FCC'slatest report on the subject, which might be helpful to you.  I can tell you this right now: You will get much more radiation from holding a cell phone up to your head than you ever will from these towers if they are legally placed and constructed.  Use a headset with a wire!  You can contact me at
abs46@comcast.net if you wish.

You seem very concerned about RF energy, I assume that you do not own a cell phone.

It sounds as if you are determined to "prove" there is a danger, are you worried the tower may fall on your house?

At 30 yards, most of the signal will pass over your house. The only way to determine if you are being exposed to high levels of RF energy is by using a meter.

You could also buy an inexpensive alerting device which can be left on to continuously monitor the RF levels in your area.
