u can breed either of her at her first season-though it's better to wait for her second season due to less problems(first season equal to 14 years teen having babies, lots of stress) with the male wait till he's fully mature.

Though this is an old question, both males and females should be a minimum of two years old as they should be mentally and physically mature before breeding (you wouldn't let your 12 year old daughter get pregnant just because she physically can, would you?).  They should have all health tests pertinent to their breed (hips, elbows, eyes, etc) and should be temperament tested.  In addition, she should be structurally and conformationally sound and it is in the best interest of the breed to have her titled in some kind of working sport.  Anything from agility to therapy to Schutzhund to weight pulling will show she is a good specimen to pass on her genes.
