upvc door euro lock.
I need to replace in locked position.
This door and frame has not been fitted yet.
I have removed the brass plate on the door and released the locking mecanism,but am unable to release lock.

drill just below the keyhole till you drillout five pins they should fall down allowing the cylinder to rotate.

make sure u have unsrewed the screw on the side of the lock then put the existing key in the lock and try turning the key slightly n pulling the lock at the same time this shud work.... oh u also dont need to remove the handles

you need to remove the screw on the upright jamb edge - there is a screw level with the bottom of the lock.
