what is a crude drug? and what are the advantages of using crude drugs? do they have any side effects?

crude drugs are drugs originate from plant , animal kingdom'mineralsthey contain more amt of active constitute.they do not have any side effect.

crude drugs are animal or plant drugs in raw form i.e. drugs that have undergone only the process of collection and drying no futher processing.

using crude drugs may have some advantages because some time the plant constituents may have synergistic,additive or potentiation effect when they are together.
evenif crude drugs are well tolerated they areno without side effects.

crude drug may be defined as vegetable or animal drug which consist of natural substances that have undergone on other processes than collecting and drying.
it is safe for health becaus it have not have any side effect.
they have less amount of side effect.thos are ignorable.
