Just drinking alcohol is poisoning your body. Getting drunk may be worse, but the actual drink effects your internal organs. So, no.

um actually thats one glass one wine a day that is healthy they say. and the answer is no. straightedge is all about free from poisons. alcohol is poison. there is no lukewarm in the edge world. you are either SXE or not.

jezuz .... if ur straight edge u should know that drinking is not allowed.... to drink at all means ur not straight edge... how dont people get this... go look up some site and find that no drinking no drug and no permiscuous sex!

nurse22 is right, while getting drunk is obviously not good in ANY standards, its true by looking at all the old farts in guiness book of world records, every single old fart has accredited their old age to a glass of wine a day, so in respect one glass of WINE per day aint bad i guess... as for your edgeness, im not to sure, ive only been for about 5 months now and all i know is, if it feels bad it prolly is bad, but its not nihilism, it may feel good (the taste) but still be bad, but check into it

in reply to nurse22.. it cant be any alcoholic drink. i doubt a beer a day is good for you. however, a small glass of wine is generally suggested to old folks.
