I have a recipe for a crockpot "Taco Soup" that calls for ranch-style beans, along with pintos and kidney beans.  Please tell me, what are ranch-style beans?

If you go to the grocery store in the canned aisle where chili beans etc. are you should also find beans that are called ranch style. They remind me of chili beans.

The ones you want are common in Texas, harder to find elsewhere. They can be found here:

For a more reasonable price, ask your local supermarket to carry them.
Buena suerte!
