Before buying a telescope (budget about $800), I would like to buy a decent pair of binoculars  for astronomy (For about $350). Want to move around with the binocular so I do not want one which is not ideal when hand-held. Can someone tell me whether Canon 10X30IS is better than Celestron Ultima 8X56. Or any alternative suggestions would be very appreciated.
