get a capacitor i farrad for every 1000 watts of amp ie 2 500 watt amps = 1 capacitor 3-4 500 watt amps = 2 capacitor Etc... it will eliminate that

well that doesnt describe much and as far as i know thats just the power turning on. if it just thumps when you turn on anything on the stereo thats ok it will do that. but if its really really loud you may want to have it looked at because it could be wired wrong.
