the outlet in my daughter's room has no ground.  How do I install a ground wire?

run a new 12/2 w ground

at the main service feeding your house make sure there is a ground rod in the ground if not find out how to install it. usually 8 feet long copper rods within 5/8 or 1/2 an inch in width make sure the water pipe is grounded as well if so run a new 12/2 romex underneath the house to the desired room and there you have it the outlet is grounded..
