There is a scholarship for left handers, but it's for students from a certain high school that will be enrolling into a certain college. I don't remember the name of either schools, but I do believe that these schools are in Indiana.

I believe it is a great thing to have a scholarship for left handed people for the fact that there is not many lefted handed people out there and it is a unique talent . Being left handed and getting a scholarship would be such a wonderful oppurtunity that i would have.

for my fellow left handers who can't pay for school:  there is but one scholarship for us and it is only for those attending Juanita college in pennsylvania.  hell, i'mready to transfer for the extra money alone.  sorry for the disconcerting news.

i heard about juniata college too. but i visited the juniata college web site and it is not mentioned at all can someone contact juniata college and find out if there is actually a scholarship or this only a rumour please inform me if there is one

There is only one left handed scholarship available and it's for students that attend Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA.  I received it for three years as an undergraduate there.  Here is the link www.juniata.edu  If you are interested in science it's a great school to consider!

There is a left handed scholarship if you are interested in attending Juanitia College or something like that. I am not 100% sure on the spelling. 'finaid.com' has a section called unusual scholarhips and there is a description there

I know there is a scholarship for left handed people because I was offered one and it helped me even though it wasnt much. They also made sure I hand accurate and good handwriting.

Being a lefty is fun, because you get more attention, etc. I think we deserve a scholarship, because sometimes it is hard being a lefty. When I write my right hand shakes. I don't know why, but people say it is because I am a lefty. For being a lefty we deserve a scholarship for being the minority, a very unique population.

I think that there is a scholorships for left handers but there nowhere that you can find them at... It might just be a myth or something of the sort.... If anyone find a website for left-handers than please e-mail ASAP

Yes there are scholarships for left handed people.  I am left handed and have looked into it.  If that is my last resort I will use it but otherwise I would advise looking for another scholarship.

the only left handed scholarship I have found is to Juanita College in Pennsylvania. I'm looking for any kind of scholarship i can qualify for. try searching Google, Yahoo or MSN.

If there is money for left-handed people/we cant seem to locate it because the ones that are saying that it is are the ones that are thinking on the wrong side of their brain/ left handed people are the only ones that only think in their right mind/  I hope we can find this money one day

I think to have scholarships for left handed people is stupid. you say "for my fellow left handers that cant pay for school" what about all the right handed people who can't pay for school? do they get scholarships for being right handed? If they do I haven't found any lately. I think left handers should get scholarships for being intelligent and athletic not for being left handed

Scholarship for Left-Handed Students
The only scholarship for left-handed students is the Frederick and Mary F. Beckley Scholarship of up to $1,000. This scholarship is awarded to left-handed students who will be attending Juniata College. This scholarship is only available to students who are enrolled at Juniata College. I think that the whole idea of having a scholarship just for being left handed is bogus!There should only be scholarships for those people who deserve it. You left handers should just get off your butt and actually try to do something instead of taking what is rightfully somebody else's. I hope they terminate the so called "Left handed Scholarship" because that is a crock!

I'm a triplet and all of us are girls we look identical but we are not. We are also all left handed. It is going to be very expensive for all of us to go to college and I would love to get that scholarship but there is no way in the world I'm traveling across the United States to get a tiny scholarship.

so many people have heard about these "left-handed scholarships" and yet no one has really found anything that can help any us outside of Pennsylvania. i wonder if there really is any funds out there for us and if so who is collecting all of the money or is it just wishful thinking on our part.

There ARE scholarships for left- handed people. I have researched this at my local library in one of the big scholarship books they have there. Go there, or to a book store and see if you can find information on left handed scholarships there. If you are in high school, ask your guidance counselor. If you are in university or college, ask your advisor.

there is but its only for a certain county and it prob not yours...everyone says they are out there, but really scholarships for left-handers pretty much dont exist

I am a twin & both of us are left-handed.  We are also looking for lefthanded scholarships or grants.  someone at our local employment placement office is assisting us in this search.  she has ran across it in the past.  If anyone finds one let me know, if I find it, I will pass it on.

Yes, there are scholarships for left handed people.  Most are for only about $500, but thats better than nothing.

We have heard of one scholarship available. It is particular to Juniata
   College in Huntington, Pensylvania. It is worth $1000 USD, which doesn't
   go a long way at Juniata, where costs run about $25000 USD. Lefthandedness
   is just one of the qualifications; you need to have demonstrated academic
   achievement as well.

The only Scholarship I can find for left handed people is for students who will be attending Juniata College.  All the websites I've gone to say that it's the ONLY scholarship for left handed people.  How crappy is that?

This scholarship is awarded to left-handed students who will be attending Juniata College. This scholarship is only available to students who are enrolled at Juniata College. There are scholarships for leftys, like me too, there are lots out there,... we just don't know where they are, and being left handed is the best part of anything!  If you're a lefty, don't ever think there is anything wrong with it, cause there is nothing wrong with us.  

There is this one ruler, that is made for leftys, with the numbers going the opposite way, and on the ruler it says, "Lefty's will rule the world." :-D just thought a smile would help. ;)

yeah, I'm a lefty too, and have been searching for the infamous left-handed scholarship.  I'm only found one and like de_rien said it's only if you're going to Juanita college in pennsylvania.

Juniata College, a small, liberal-arts college in Huntingdon.

Juniata's left-handed scholarship, worth $1,000 to $1,500 a year to studious southpaws, was established by the late Mary Francis Beckley, a former Juniata student, with a bequest of $24,000. More than 40 left-leaning Juniata students have taken advantage of the scholarship since its inception in 1979.

The scholarship is reserved for sophomores, juniors or seniors attending Juniata College. The stipend cannot be applied to other institutions. According to Randy Rennell, Juniata's director of student financial planning, lefties are identified by answering the final question on Juniata's individual data form. The scholarship recipients are chosen from left-handers that have top academic records.

listen, there is not just one scholarship for one school or whatever the gay u just said. My half bro'sex-step dad was offered a FULL scholarship for being left-handed... at a college in tn.

i've heard about it.....and supposingly left handed people are "smarter" but i feel normal.....anyways, my cousin's boyfriend got into a college with a scholarship because he was a lefty!.....im lookin 4 one myself(somewhere in new york)

For those who don't seem to research such a unique quality (luerb), there are scholarships out there for the very talented left- handers. You just have to look. Another thing is there are certain qualifications like your state, and what your major is, and also the school you're attending.

I know there's scholarships for left handed people and I know where to apply for them. Its easier to ask a school counselor about them so they can research it for you or you can finds a lot of different scholarships for lefty's on google.

yeah i am looking for left handed scholarships grants anything any where I'm a AVID student its a pre-college class and my teacher told me too look it up cause they do have them!!! and i need money for college darn well know all of are parents are not rich!!!
