I can not open attachments to any of my email. The msg says/shows I have an attachment(s) but I can't open them. I am using Outlook Express. I don't know if I have changes the settings some how in my ISP (cox.net) but all of a sudden I can't open attachments on either my desktop or laptop.

In options select security and uncheck the attachment button. outlook->"option"->"security"->uncheck the attechment button

Turn off the Option to Use the Unsafe File List To turn off the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus option: Start Outlook Express. On the Tools menu, click Options. Click the Security tab, click to clear the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus check box under Virus Protection, and then click OK.

I just want to know why I can open e-mail with attachment, when I unload them and want to read it, it answer the e-mial is not support by windows. so can yu hep me to see if I can open it by another way.

NEW VIRUS CAME. DON'T OPEN ANY E MAIL SUBJECTED "INVITATION" IT CAUSES A HOLE IN C DRIVE. AND U CAN'T OPEN ANY ATTACHMENT IN E MAIL. THANKS
