I have just turned 100,000 miles on my truck and my tranny...

I have just turned 100,000 miles on my truck
and my tranny busted at 65,000 miles. I have not heard of this from nobody. Is this a frek acident or is it common? When it whent out,felt like it had a shif kit in it. My tranny that I put back in it seams to have the same semptons. Is it my driving or is it the tranny?

What kind of truck is it...  it also depends on the maintenance of the transmission

if it is old and has bad milage why buy it
