I just recently got a female Jrt. She seems to be always shaking. Is this part of the breed, or is there something to worry about?

My JRT does the same.  It is usually when she seems to be scared or insecure.  I know atleast 30 minutes in advance when a thunderstorm is coming.  She freaks out kind of like a horse does.  I usually try to distract her and it seems to work.  If she's thinking about the ball she will sometimes forget that she was scared

This is a tool like the begging with the paw.  Shaking will almost make you offer a small morsol or tid bid to them is they can make you feel sorry for them.  Its just another ploy from these smart dogs.
