Regression test is nothing about Retesting the test which is already executed to compare the actual result with expected result after fixing the bug.

If your product is based on the regional language,we have to test based on the regional language ,called regional test

Regression test is a  test to make sure the unchanged portion of the software remain unchanged after a bug was fixed.
