You can not breed a bother and a sister together but if you get the father and daughter to breed then there will be no birth defects. Note that ONLY father and daughter can do that. It is called "lineage".

You can but it is disgusting. If you want really healthy pups then breed some that aren't related. When I was selling pups some people asked me if the parents were related. It seems that people don't feel good about buying inbred dogs.

Animals are almost like humans. I mean if we were to "breed" with our brother or sister, we're likely to come out cross eyed with two different colored eyes. Yeah kinda scary...No don't breed from the same litter.

Of course there'll be defects! If we bred with our relatives we'd end up with freakshow babies and that wouldn't be nice.

I know a guy that have over 10 dachshunds and he cannot stop his dogs from breeding together because they are quite horny. There are brothers, sisters, cousins, mother and father all in the litter, he has had at least 4 litters of puppies and has had no birth defects...So it works out o.k. i guess. It's the ethical view of it all, it's not right and justified. If i were you, i wouldn't let it happen, get an outside male.

I was wondering if anyone can help me. A friend of mine that purchase a puppy from us about 7 months ago wants to buy a male out of this litter that was born 2 months ago. But Can you breed a sister from the last litter to a brother from this litter from the same mom and dad? Thanks for your help

I think that it would be just fine to breed brother and sister from the same litter, the only thing that you can't do is breed brother and sister and than breed there pups together, as long as people don't buy two of your pups and breed them there should not be any problems at all.
