I am planning to get a new pet chihuahua and we are planning to get it before we move (by the way we live in Florida and are moving to New Mexico) and i was wondering if we should wait until we move because i have heard they do not respond well to climate change?

I would strongly suggest that you wait until you have completed the move and the new house is in relative order. Chihuahuas don't like changes to routine as a general rule, you're just asking for trouble if you bring a new puppy home and then turn right around and move it again. It's not climate change so much as it is any change, leaving its mother, litter mates and familiar sounds and smells is enough of a stress.
