Here is a simple way to make your own fractal.

1) Draw a line.   ______

2) divide the line into three equal parts

          __.__.__

3) in the middle 1/3rd, erase the line and make an equilateral triangle.

     __/\__
     1 23 4

4) now you have 4 lines (1 line, plus 2 that make a spike, plus one line).  for each of those four lines, do steps 2 and 3.  each line, including the two making the spike!

5) then you will have 16 lines.  you should now have 4 more spikes than at the end of step 3.  repeat steps 2 and 3 again.

you get the idea.  you can do this an infinite number of times (in theory any ways) getting a line whose curves will approach an infinite length, will be continuous (unbroken), but is non-differentiable (no tangent exists).

To make a fractals you may do almost anything a fractals can be as easy as a giant lego built out of legos. Or you can draw a large diamond in the middle of a piece of paper and then around that diamond draw four diamonds that are at each of the tips of the large one. Then repeat around those diamonds and repeat around those diamonds. And thats how you make a fractal.
