I have a five dollar bill series 1963 with red lettering in very good condition A 62536452 A. Why is it red and what is it worth?

Hi...Well you have a Legal Tender Note also called US note.This is still the longest issued currency ,first issued in 1862-1971.The US government issued many types of currency.The main difference between types of currency was how the notes were backed or guaranteed.Starting with the small size notes (1928 series) which are the same size that we use today these different types of currency were distinguished by color of there seals and serial numbers.
As far as value it depends on grade but this note is a common note as far as collectors are concerned and in circulated grades it's value would be in the $5-$8 range.

I several old coins, 2 five dollar bills wrote in red lettering, 2 twenty dollar bills they also are wrote in red lettering, around 22-30 pennies the size of quarters.  Can you please help, by giving me a idea of what the value is worth today.

I am trying to find where I can find honest amounts for for old bills I have.  I have 10 1.00 SC, 5-2.00 Bills, 7-2.00 bills RS and 1-5 Bill RS.  email me back at retah53@aol.com thank you very much for your time and trouble.  I also have 20.00 coins and 5.00 coins.  Thanks again.
