I seem to have a virus in my computer. IT all started when I got a surge in my power and my PC (which hadnt been restarted in a few weeks) was rebooted. Once i was into Windows, my pc started to run very sluggishly. And when I opened TAsk Manager my PC was running at 100%. I cant open many folders (Internet Explorer, My documents and the the Programs section of my Sart MENU is blank) but WINAMP does work. When restarted my PC does the DOS check of files and lists many in my Documents and Settings folder that need to be "truncated". So since I cannot run any programs cause the PC gets backlogged (even when i try to end processes in Task manager) how do i get around my problem?

The best advice is "take it to the shop" because looks like you lost the configuration in your system and windows is corrupt, you didn`t`t say which windows you work with or if the computer boot-up to windows and then restart but anyway best thing with this pcs.lost some pennies and let the cucucomputers tech. get cracy. by.

Go to the store buy Mcafee virus scan and it shall fix it.
