I have intermittent low idle problems on a 96 plymouth grand voyager 3.3 v6. Idle drops from 750 to 300-450. It almost stalls but rpm jumps back up. Usually does it when coming to a stop or switching from drive to reverse. any suggestions. (I replaced the ais motor, but this did not fix the problem)

Had the same problem.  The idle air flow control motor can be flakey.  Replace this, and your problem goes away

I have a 96 Plymouth Voyager with 120,000 miles that I bought new.  It has been the best vehicle I've ever owned and still rides and looks great, with only minor repairs.  When it was new, it would occasionally stall out when decelerating, creating dangerous situations on turns.  After three trips to the shop, I talked to the service manager who immediately said it was the idle air control (IAC).  They changed it and the problem went away for good.  I don't know if this is a motor or a valve, but a good service department should know about it.
