I HAVE A 4 YR.OLD FEMALE LHASO, HAVE HAD HER SINCE SHE WAS 4 WEEKS OLD. SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL DOG,AND A LOT OF TIME VERY AFFECTIONATE AND LOVING HOWEVER, SHE IS VERY AGGRESIVE. SHE HAS BIT EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY AND WE DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY. WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY LOVING TO HER, AND SHE HAS BIT FOR NO REASON. SHE IS ALWAYS SHOWING HER TEETH, WE SAY SHE IS SMILING AT US, CAUSE THATS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE, LOL IF YOU GET UP TO FAST SHE BARKS . IF YOU GIVE HER ANY BONES OR HARD TOYS SHE GARDS THEM AS IF THEY WERE A BABY AND YOU CAN NOT GO NEAR HER. I DO NOT SHOW HER I AM AFFRAID BUT SHE DOES NOT BACK DOWN. SHE IS PRAISED WHEN SHE IS GOOD, AND REPERMANDED WHEN SHE IS BAD. CAN ANYONE HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND THIS DOG, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO. I HAVE NEVER HAD A DOG LIKE THIS BEFORE AND AM AT A LOSS AS TO HOW TO DEAL WITH HER. I LOVE HER DEARLY BUT DO NOT UNDERSTAND HER. THEY SAY A DOG NEVER BITES THE HAND THAT FEEDS THEM. WELL IN MY CASE SHE DOES. MAYBE WE ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. CAN ANYONE HELP ME????????? THANKS

I have a 8yr old Lhaso.  His name is Baxter. He is extremely protective of me. I have found he is a creature of habit, It seems that he only bites or attacks at the same time and on the same furniture each time. His daily routine is ALWAYS the same. We just work around it and know his tender moments. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Troy
