Ah, Superpergiants are cool! They usually have masses of about 20 times that of our sun. However their atmosphere is not as dense, allowing them to be very big. Some, such as betelgeuse are large enough to swallow over a billion of our suns! At the end of their lives they explode in a class II supernova leaving a super-compact core that either collapses into a black hole, or remains as a fast-spinning neutron star.

Super giant star are quite interesting! For example the super giant star,Aldebaran's is so big that if u put it where are sun is it would reach out to Jupiter! which is over 10 billion miles! Super giant stars that a red, mean they are the coldest star, but still much hotter than us humans could stand. The blue ones are extremely hot. Since they are so large the don't have such a large life span...when they explode they either leave a super dense neutron star-or a black whole with enough gravity to suck in just about anything in it path. A black whole is just a dense planet with a Strong gravitational pull.

A super giant star is a pre-blackhole or a pre-neutron star, in fact a neutron star is a pre-blackhole, and all super giant stars become neutron stars, then the neutron star becomes a blackhole or a pulstar or just a simple neutron star.

well it began when the USA where doing chemical testing in the pacific ocean, where one of the bombs radiation wave hit a small island known as "dnalsi", the radiation caused a migit leper to grow 57 feet high and turn his disease lepracy into super human powers. His name was Shawn zaky, another thing the radiation caused was hair to grow in unusual places on his body, everyone laughed at him. he swam to Australia and lives on the small island under Australia called "Tasmania" he fits in really well there as they are all inbreed due to running out of people who werent related to them, so all became inbreed. he know is famously known as a super giant...

they don't live that long and when they die they will explode and become a black hole or just a very dense star

Supergiants are stars that can be up to 20 times the size of our closest star, our sun.  There are two different types of Supergiants. There are red ones, which are colder, and blue ones, which are hotter.  This contradicts our commonly used colors of red being hot and blue being cold.

A super giant star is what happens to a high mass proto-star after about 100million years. The hydrogen makes the star expand and become much larger than its original size. The star is then called a super giant, which will eventually blow up and become a supernova which then can become a giant space vacuum (a black hole) or a neutron star which is only about 20 kilometer in diameter. Pretty amazing eh?

A supergiant star is like a really big star, but the red ones are cooler and the blue ones are very hot. It converts hydrogen to helium and the central layers *core* contract and the outer layers expand. Blue supergiants are young, the red ones are old.

This is to Maha you are right on almost everything you said. You said that the orbit of Jupiter is 10 billion miles this is incorrect being that the orbit of Pluto, the furthest known planet is not even 1/2 that far away. The orbit of Jupiter is between 900 million miles and a billion miles, but still this is a huge object this star Aldebaran. I was looking at supergiants and hypergiants star articles the other day and I ran across a supergiant star that have a diameter of 2 billion miles. The article said that this star is so huge that it has the volume of 250 billion suns. When you think that the sun is big enough to contain one million earths you realize this supergiant is big enough to hold 250 trillion earths. If you allow for each star in the galaxy having 9 planets like our star Sol has, all the 400 billion stars estimated to be in this galaxy, would come out to 3.9 trillion stars. This huge star alone could hold 64 times more planets than there are in our galaxy. That is indeed a very huge object. But I suppose that as mankind ability to invent better and better instruments for looking into the universe we will find stars alot larger than the one I am referring to (I forgot the name of it). I would expect that eventually we will find stars larger than our whole solar systems and will be big enough to hold trillions of suns. I often wonder if there are not stars out there bigger than our solar system and planets bigger than our sun. Just because we humans think that something can't be don't mean that it isn't. I would not be suprise that decades from now we want find stars that are light years across. Personally I believe there is a GOD that says He created all things and that include the vast limitless universe. And the further we will be able to see with our telescopes the more wonders we will see.

VV Cephei

VV Cephei is a binary star system located in the constellation Cepheus. It contains a red supergiant and a blue main sequence star. VV Cephei A, the supergiant, is one of the largest stars known. It is of spectral type M2 and is about 2640 times the Sun's diameter. If it replaced the Sun in our solar system, it would extend to the orbit of Saturn. It is 315,000 times as luminous as the Sun.

VV Cephei B, the blue main sequence star, orbits the larger star at a distance of 16 - 25 AU every 20 years. It is a B0 star about 10 times the Sun's diameter and about 100,000 times its luminosity.

stars of very high mass expend to become even larger than red giants.Red supergiants can have radii several hundred times that of the sun.just like red giants, they undergo hytrogen-shell burning and have the main sequence. When they have finished hydrogen-shell burning, they collapse and the helium core reaches a high enough temperature for the helium to be converted in to carbon and oxygen.Helium-core burning is briefer than hydrogen burning, and when the helium core is depleled,helium-shell burning begins. If massaive enough, further nuclear burning will accur, producing elements with an atomic mass up to the iron.Near the end of supergiants phase ,a high-mass star will develop several layers of increasingly heavy elements.Eventually, supergiants dies as  supernovae

A supergiant star is the largest star. The red ones are cooler than the blue ones, the blue ones are hotter. The smaller the star the hotter it is. Like a Neutron star is very hot, because it is not using up as much entergy so it is brighter. Also the larger the star the shorter the life. Like the sun is 5 billion years old, and it will live for 5 billion more years. But a star that is more it's mass will only live about 10 million years, and stars that are really small will live much more than 10 billion years. Some star's light takes a long time to get here, so say if 725 years ago a star was born, and it is 800 light years away, when the light gets here it is like you are looking into the past!!!!! Science is so cool, at times.

A super giant is one of the largest form of stars. The most luminous super giants are more commonly known as hyper giants. Due to their extreme masses they have short lifespans of only 10 to 50 million years. As a result of their short lifespans they are mainly observed in young cosmic structures such as open clusters, the arms of spiral galaxies, and in irregular galaxies. There are 2 main types of super giants, the red super giant and the blue super giant.

A supergiant is a star bigger than our sun. Their lifespan is shorter because it has a huge mass. super giants do start out as an average star, but then it grows. Some super giants lives end by supernovas or shrinking. Our sun, however will explode and not shrink because it is too small. Our sun will become a black dwarf. However, the blue super giant HDE 226868 will either be sucked into Cygnus X-1 or become a blackhole itself. The other supergiants will end by turning into a black hole. The blue stars are hotter than the red stars.
