I am glad to see someone else asking this because I have been looking for an answer to this same exact question for awhile now. I have been taking sleeping pills (variances of these), benadryl, or tylenol PM but off and on for 3 years. Sad to see no one answered this question though.

Don't know, but I would like to know the answer to this question as well. Benadryl helped keep my allergies and insomnia under control, but I didn't want to keep taking it without first knowing if there are any adverse long-term effects of it. Any good ideas on where else to check?
