I tried to die my 4 year old sister's hair with red cherry flavored kool-aid. The next morning I gave her a shower and washed it out, but it dyed her skin all red! How do I get the dyed red off her skin?

As a hairstylist let me first tell you NEVER EVER put kool-aid in someone's hair.Just as sweets are not good for your body they're not good for your hair.Especially a 4 year old!!!!As far as getting it off the skin, try using dish soap or let it fade naturally.

here ami;
READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING. I WILL LAUGH AT YOU IF YOU DON'T. Okay, some of you are right on it, and some of you are just crazy. You have to mix conditioner with Kool-Aid UNSWEETENED mix. I assure you, if you use sweetened, you're hair will be a disaster! You need about 2 times as much conditioner as you would need if you were to condition your hair. Put it in a bowl. Then, put 2 UNSWEETENED (sugar-free) packets of Kool-Aid (color is your choice) in the bowl, and mix well. You might want to wear clothes you don't mind getting messed up, so that if anything drips on them, you don't have to freak out. Put on rubber gloves and massage the mixture into your hair. Pile the hair on your head, and wrap in plastic wrap. The longer you leave it there, the longer the color will last. If you have dark hair, you will need to bleach it first to get any noticeable change. If you have red hair, this may not work at all, because red hair is hard to dye. Once you have sat as long as you can stand with the Kool-Aid in your hair, take off the plastic wrap and rinse your hair until the water runs clear. DO NOT stand in the shower to rinse your hair. Lean over the side of the bathtub and put your head under the water. If you have a detachable shower head, use that. If you stand up, the color will run down onto your body, and leave you stained. It comes out with a good scrubbing, but you would rather not have to deal with it, trust me. Once you're done, you can go about showering as normal. Hope I've helped.

Mix in 1 packet of kool-aid with about one tablespoon of conditioner, any kind. Put on gloves and put the mixture where you want it. If it is just a strand you may want to wrap it with foil or plastic wrap. The longer you leave the mixture on, the better it will turn out, the longer it will stay in. This may stay in for a while, depending on how absorbant your hair is. I have heard that you can get it out my using toothpaste, have never tried it, I will be soon though, being as I cant have un-natural hair colors at my school. If you have a darker color of hair, bleach it before doing the color from kool-aid. Bleaching your hair can never come out, once your bleach it, you will have to wait until new hair grows in, so be careful, if you dont want the color there for a long time, dont bleach your hair. If you do bleach your hair, dont use the conditioner they give you in the box, this will seal your color and you wont be able to die your hair colors. However, AFTER you get the kool-aid color in and have let it set in your hair, you then can use the conditioner they gave you in the box. This will seal the color on your hair. Then, you can shower like normal and it shouldnt wash out. Good Luck

Don't put Kool-Aid in your hair. Just go to the store and get a temporary Blue. You could go to a stylist and ask them to do it for you. If your dead set on the Kool-Aid, you can get whats called a frosting/tipping cap. It has little holes in it so that you can just put out one little section of color.

mix 2 packs with twice as much conditioner as you usually use, then add package, mix, add to hair (wet hair if it's not bleached, but it's best to bleach it first) then let it sit as long as you want.. the longer it's in the longer it'll last, good luck.

The best way [[I find]] To dye you hair with cool aid is to take a packet of kool aid and pour it into a paper cup. Add a squirt of conditioner and 3 drops of water and stir it up. it becomes a paste. Wet the parts of ur hair that u want dyed. add the paste on the wet parts. and cover ur head with saran wrap and leave it for 10 min. then yeah rinse it our [[ when rinsing it out put ur head under the water without having any skit touching it or it will dye ur skin if it does dye ur skin try toothpaste]]

This girl tells you exactly how to do it! And, as a hairstylist only an idiot would put sugar in the Kool-Aide to dye their hair. Kool-Aide does NOT hurt your hair.

what u have to do is pretty simple:
mix that pack of kool aid with conditioner, and mix it in a bowl until there is no more lumps. then using a highlighting brush or paint brush, make that strand of hair blue. then wrap it in foil for about two hours. take the foil out and rinse your hair.

What color is your hair? If it's light, this is easy as pie. If it's dark then you might need to bleach it first. It all depends on your hair color and what color you're trying for.

1. Boil water in a pot. PARENTAL SUPERVISION STRONGLY ADVISED!! Usually, the standard mix of making Kool Aid for drinking works (about a quart, use your own judgement, stronger color=less water).
2. Turn off the stove to let the water cool for a minute.
3. Add 1 packet (short hair) to 3 packets (super long and/or thick hair) of the Kool Aid color of choice into nearly boiling water so it dissolves.
4. For color that lasts longer, you can add a spoonful of white vinegar (the cooking variety) to the mix, but this is entirely optional.

STREAKS: Take the pot of water outside (it's SUPER staining, dont get it on ANY furniture!), then add it to the streak areas you'd like to be colored. If you've let the mix cool to shower temperature, then go ahead and dip those streak areas into the pot of water. Or you can use something like a wide paintbrush, but honestly the dipping method works best. Wrap color bits with saran wrap for as long as necessary (1 hour to overnight, again it's all about how strong you want the color to be, longer means stronger/vibrant color).
and if you want it out faster, put toothpaste in it

hope i helped!!!!
