SO from what I have read this movement is really based on self control and self esteem right? Does this help ones out look on themselves?

i think it helps out a lot with ones self esteem... if they believe in the sXe principles, and want to follow out with them and then find someone with the same beliefs it really makes you more outgoing in being active in the community and in making a progressive movement if you have someone supporting you

SXE is all about a positive lifestyle centered in the ideal of self betterment. Heck yeah it helps with self esteem.

I think "claiming" edge or showing it to the public helps one to stay true i guess if that makes sense... and to not break it. for me, im just proud of who i am and want others to know it.

Believing in the sXe principles really helps you get control of your life which makes you look at yourself as a better person. You don't lower yourself to the standards of a lot of other people and you get to know who you really are. Then, when you look at yourself in the mirror, you're proud to be who you are and you're proud of what you stand for.
