it depends on the shop. by yourself, you need to be 18, with proof of age. however, SOME shops will let you get tattooed at 16, maybe younger, with a legal gardian, and both of you need some sort of id. generally, you should check with the shop. really bad ones won't card you, but only go if you feel like getting it removed/covered up in a couple years.
