I was born with Tuberous Sclerosis, and because of it, I have epilepsy. For years I
have been taking Dilantin.Recently,in July of'03,I began having medical complications.
I have hundreds of benign blood vessel tumors
in my liver, kidneys, stomach, abdominal wall, and two that are in my heart.I also have unexplainable pain that I have to take prescription pain medication for.And I am having abnormal periods.Anyways, recently I had a really bad episode in a grocery store.
My pain,on a level from 1 to 10, was a 10.I
couldn't move.I had to hold onto my cart for support.Well, the next thing I know, my head starts buzzing.I was able to feel the buzzing just by putting my hand on my head. Then my legs began feeling numb. And a minute later,I was in another world.I didn't pass out.I could hear people in the store. But I couldn't see.Instead of seeing what I was supposed to be seeing, I was in another place-a room-and there was no doors or windows. There was a big light, though, and it was shining down on a empty wheelchair,
and the wheelchair was facing me.Just when I was about to get upset,I was back.Back in the store. And some lady entered the aisle and gave me a peculiar expression like she thought something was strange about me.All I want to know is this:did I almost have a seizure?

Becky also for the heavy periods have them check you thyroid I went through this too and bled for 45 days. I had a thyroid problem that was causing the bleeding. With all the blood vessel problems you could have thrown a clot. Please pursue excellent medical care. Much Love Dorothy
