My 3 year old daughter has a fairly mild case of eczema that has been easily controlled by limiting bathing, using unscented products, and using lotion after bathing.  My problem recently has been finding a mild, unscented shampoo for her hair.  It seems like every time we find something that works, it goes off the market within six months. Any suggestions?

I use regular shampoo on my daughters hair because I wash it in the sink with a sprayer so it won't get on her skin. I particularly use pantene fortified for her hair. I don't know if your daughter has cradle cap in her hair from eczema or not? Please advise.

Same here...my one year old broke out with eczema last winter.  Our dermatologist told us to bathe in tepid water, use Oilatum soap (very mild), to take brief baths and do not bathe with a bathcloth...hands only.  Also to moisturize her skin while she is still wet with a wonderful cream if you can find it...called Cerave cream (not the lotion).  The cream is heavier and holds moisture in better.  We have done great on this regimen, but we have to stay on top of it during the winter months.  We do also have asthma kind of stuff going on also with breathing treatments.
