I have a beautiful brindled pitt bull named Faith.  She was rescued from a drug house where she was being physically and mentally abused.  She is the most loving dog I could ever want.  I suggest that if you are finding any kind of lumps on your pet, please see your veterinarian for a professional opinion.  Never take chances with your special friend who depends on you to make good judgment for all of their medical needs. It is much better to catch a problem in the early stages than the later.  You owe it to your pet to get the best care available for them, in return, they will provide you with the best companionship and love you will ever know.

I had a pitt and he had a lump on his side, we were never sure what it was but we knew it wasn't cancer.  He bit it off and had a scar but it never grew back, before he died (don't worry it wasn't from the lump, he got hit by a car).  There is a number of things it could be like a cancer tumor, a fat tumor (they usual don't get them on their legs though) or from the medication.  Get it checked out though by a vet soon.

My dog (Butch) has gotten himself into one problem after another. He's headbutted things while playing and collided into walls and fences. He even got his tail caught in the door. He's a clown. 85 pounds of brindle energy. He loves to pick up cans and plastic bottles off the street. He's a good boy.

I have a six year old pomeranium who I just noticed had a bump on her back, off to the side, right below the ribs, but above the hind legs.  I'm not sure what it is.  It is sort of hard but you can move it around in a way.  I have noticed that is has gotten bigger, is this something to worrry about?
