Car Radio Muting with Sony XR-C290RDS and Nokia Cark 133.
I am adding a Mobile Phone hands free kit which has a wire to enable "Car Radio Muting"  I have a Sony XR-C290RDS fitted. Does anybody know which wire to the radio if any that I attach the said "CRM" wire to???

I know you will have the problem solved by now, but it may be useful to someone else. You will need a standard 12v Relay. Cut the ignition wire to the radio and connect the end from the fuse box to pins 30 and 86 on the relay, connect the radio end to pin 87a on the relay. Connect the CRM wire (yellow on Nokia sets) to pin 85 of the relay. Pin 87 on the relay is unused do not mistake it for 87a.
