NAME:       AUVS International Ground Robotics Competition

LOCATION:   Oakland University, Rochester, MI
EVENTS:     Autonomous ground vehicle navigates outdoor obstacle course within
            prescribed time while staying within 5mph speed limit.
CLASSES:    Autonomous only (emergency R/C control & manual stop required)
SIZE:       Length between 3 and 9 feet.  Width < 5'.  Height < 6' 
            (excluding antenna).  Propulsion must be by direct ground contact
            and powered by combustible fuel or electricity.  Payload is a 20
            pound block approximately like an 18"x8"x8" cinder block.
AWARDS:     $20,000 of prize money. See rules for award levels
