There are also a number of English books on prayer by traditional sources. Again, the reading list is a good place to start. Another good resource is NCSY's guide to blessings, which is just a list of blessings made before or after around a thousand different foods, along with a small guide to the laws of blessings. It's a tiny booklet, staple-bound like a bencher. It is available at [6]www.ou.org.
