I'm puzzled that you don't consider a small amount of research and
soliciting expert opinion to be an option. It seems unlikely that someone
maintaining a FAQ on a medically related subject should have no resources
for gathering information and asking questions. Sorry, it just seems that
I'm missing something here. If you already suspect that this product is not
accepted medical practice it ought to be easy to verify your suspicions. If
you feel a need to provide "alternative medicine" info, you should clearly
label it as such and include any medical opinions on it that you can find.
If this subject is so unusually esoteric that no one anywhere has an
opinion, except for the salesman, then I would hazzard a guess that no one
cares, and not include it.
