FAQ in HTML-format / Standards & Tools ?

Hello,

I'd like to write initially in HTML-format.

Are there any standards for FAQ's in HTML-format?

What tools can I use to convert HTML to ASCII? (non-interactive mode)
Does it also work, when the HTML sources are in several files?
