Unfortunately a lot of sites ignore Expires: headers and just nuke
everything at the same rate. There is an option to have INN's or C
News's expire handle moderated groups differently from unmoderated
ones, which I avail myself of to honour longer article retention where
a thoughtful moderator has requested it, but I do not believe the
pracise is either widespread or consistent.
